Eachine E010 - How good is a stock model for FPV?

I showed in my last video that an out of the box E010 will fly with a camera on but past 1 minute it gets very low on power and will be unable to lift itself around the 1.5 minute mark. I ordered some 300mah nanotech after measuring the lipo cage and although snug, they do fit and can be removed easy enough. This gives almost 4.5 minutes hover and leaves the lipo at 3.71v with the 5g FX797T camera mounted but real world FPV usage is a more modest 3, maybe 3.5 minutes depending on how you fly. The main issues are the trim will drift in throughout the flight and full pitch forwards will descend even with full throttle after a minute or two, so the already tame speed is reduced even more. I have already ordered some upgrade motors I expect to liven this up a lot but I will be fitting a cleanflight based FC soon after for more agility, rate mode and stop the cyclic trim drifting in flight like most brushed toy quads this price do. It's not a huge amount but for FPV it prevents any fine control, add the tiny transmitter to the mix and it can be tough to finesse. There's a deviation option to control this now too but you need to solder a module internally so cleanflight will enable me to use a proper transmitter. If you plan to learn to fly and bump this around the house, it's perfect and you can give it non flyers will little worry too If you plan to do FPV with this, especially if it's you're first FPV experience, I do not think it will be an easy route as something like the QX90. This frame is available as spares so you could easily build one of these with a QX90 FC, Chaoli motors and add you RX of choice very affordably if you wanted the protected prop setup without the flaws.
