Please note: I always use protective gear when I use my powdered dyes and I never use equipment that I use for dyeing yarn to cook food in, everything from the spoons to the catering pans and the pots are solely designated for dyeing and are kept separate. Always be safe! Hey Yarn Gang, hope everyone is doing well! Quick confession time, this video came about from a deep panic of “OMG I Have no content to put up for Saturday, I am failing…etc” – We all have imposter syndrome in some aspect of our lives I am sure so dumped this in the pot and as I was creating it I was hating every minute of what I saw in the pan just kept going trying to be cheerful even though I was dying inside at having ruined fibre. Why am I telling you this? Because you have all become my little fibre family and I want to share every aspect of this experience with you. But most importantly I want to share the beautiful fibre we ended up with, which is confirmation yet again that we need to believe in ourselves a little more and trust in the process. Also there is always dark or super saturated colours that you can dump stuff into to cover the ugly if you make a mistake!
