Join me for a few Peaceful Moments at Osterley Park and House in the United Kingdom. With a few hours to pass before heading for an evening flight at London Heathrow, why not head to Osterley Park and House, a National Trust property very close to Heathrow Airport? The gardens here were pretty pleasant and the house was closed on the day I visited. Entrance to the gardens was £8.50 while parking was a lofty £7.00. To be honest, there is a huge green space that is open to the public without paying an entrance fee and this includes the gift shop and the cafe. If I were to go again, I would take a picnic and enjoy it without paying to go into the gardens, although I might like to see what the house is like.
