Sleeping Beauty (1959) || 'Maleficent Dragon' RESOUND

In celebration of the release of the "Twisted Wonderland" anime, I figured I'd experiment with adding sounds to this iconic scene from the inspiration for the Diasomnia dorm, "Sleeping Beauty" Obviously, Maleficent's dragon form didn't really have a roar aside the one stock Disney growl when Philip strikes her snout with his sword, which I personally felt didn't fit her design. Instead, I opted to use a combination of Disney Carnotaurus + Fatalis + Smaug + crocodile for the vocals, and V. rex for the jaw-snaps, to give her some added menace and make her sound more monstrous. Reasons for each ingredient being: Carnotaur = Reference to the dragon vocals in "Quest For Camelot" Fatalis = Uncanny visual resemblance Smaug + crocodile = Hisses and fire breath Surprisingly, it was actually easy keeping the voice lines of the characters intact, considering the majority of the OG scene was predominantly music anyway, and the fact it was high-quality for 1959 meant that having the blank music with the snippets of voices interjected would maintain consistency in said quality ------ Credit to ‪@jdo2014‬ for the sounds here as Maleficent's teleportation, transformation and death magic:    • Fortnite - Evolved Godzilla Sound Effects   Footage: "Sleeping Beauty" [1959] (c) Walt Disney I do not own the characters or music.
