After months of dry summer, the first rain finally arrived on Milos, Greece. The island turned green overnight and I discovered a rare flower I had only seen in photos before. 🌿 Hey everyone :) After the first rain on the island of Milos, I felt the air shift - clearer, fresher, full of promise. The hills, the olive groves, the sea-warmed rocks all seemed to breathe again under a softened sky. In this video you’ll walk with me through those first magic moments: the early raindrops, the greening of the land and the delicate surprises waiting just beneath the soil. I had long seen photos of the checkered meadow saffron, but never in real life... until that day. Wandering through meadows and olive groves, I searched for its patterned petals. And then, just when I thought I wouldn’t find it, it appeared: fragile, unexpected, like a tiny miracle. After that first discovery, I began to see them all around. A little field of hidden wonders that felt like nature’s quiet reward at the end of a hard, demanding season. I also share a slower, personal shift: as the island slows and autumn arrives, I’ve decided to start learning the piano. A beginner’s journey intertwined with the rhythm of place and season.
