My Amazing and Talented "older" brother, Danny Ackerman. Danny studied and performed with his famous trumpet teacher, Bud Brisbois back in the 1960's-1970's. He has toured the world with names like The Jackson's, Ray Charles, Edwin Starr (made the song "War" famous!) and many more. Plus endless performances in Las Vegas. This is just a collection of studio "jingles" that I just found on a cassette tape. Danny recorded dozens of these plus many studio recordings over the past few decades. He has retired from playing, but did manage to play again in 2021 with one of his favourite big bands, The Ralph Carmichael Big Big Band for a celebration of life for Ralph who passed away on October 18, 2021. Christian music was Danny's calling when he first joined The Certain Sounds musical group in Van Nuys, California back in the 1970's. I'm so glad I found this tape and I wanted to share this with everyone!!
