Hey! I've teamed up with Outdoor Master to bring you some pretty cool ski gear at a discount. A review of some of their products will be coming in December–January; however, you can use these codes now to get 15–20% off any ski-related Outdoor Master product: Code: SkiTnB15 - https://bit.ly/4qMwPBi Code: SkiTnB20 - https://bit.ly/437sDlq ❗❗Code SkiTnB20 is available now until the new year, so take advantage of it now! ❗❗ Philippe's is a crown jewel line at Mammoth Mountain. At low tide it can completely bottom out, leaving a decent cliff drop towards the bottom of the chute. At higher tides the cliff at the bottom gets covered and the chute becomes more skiable. On the date of recording, the cliff at the bottom was still almost covered, but the chute was lined with obstacles, making it a challenge still. To get to Philippe's you can either continue along the Paranoid Flats ridge and drop into P4 to access Philippe's, or you can drop into P3 and traverse high to access it that way. Both require some effort and challenge to get to. If it's your first time, consider skiing P3 and traversing left under the cliffs to scope Philippe's out from the bottom first, then attempting if the coverage is suitable for your ability level. Know your limits. ::::Information Manager:::: •Ski Resort(s) in the video: Mammoth Mountain - California •Type of Difficulty: Steep, Technical •Coolest at What Snow Level: All •Potential Access Challenges: Gnarly Ridge, Rocks, Maybe portage •Date Skied: Friday May 9th, 2025 •Snowfall to Date: 283" Season Total at the Main Lodge (60" Base) - Definitely more at the Summit •24hr Snow: 0" •Episode Source: Episode 37 (Szn 7) •Comments on the Run(s): Honestly the best tide to ski Philippe's in. The chute doesn't bottom out, but the rocks throughout the chute give it a great technical challenge. ::::My Stuff:::: Music playlist for the videos: https://open.spotify.com/playlist/6N6... 3D map I used was Fatmap: (RIP Fatmap my beloved) SkiTnB Clothing (Dated): https://teespring.com/stores/skitnb-o...
