Join us, Sonja and Jason on this epic off-grid adventure in Nevada's remote desert region as we chase natural hot springs under the vast open skies. This video opens with us at Bog Hot Spring a secluded get away in the high desert, steeped in steaming, crystal clear pool surrounded by rugged sagebrush and distant mountain views. We eagerly strip down and ease into the perfectly warm water, and laughing and relaxing as steam rises around us, soaking away the dust from the long drive while taking in the serene, untouched landscape. After a blissful soak, we hit the dirt road again, embarking on a rugged 60 mile journey across the expansive Nevada desert. Endless dirt tacks stretch through the barren landscape, with panoramic shots of our Kawasaki KLR 650 kicking up dust trails against the dramatic horizon. Tension builds as we take a wrong turn. getting temporarily lost amid the featureless terrain. No cell service just a map and instinct to guide us through the remote wilderness. Finally relief sets in as we spot the cabin in Soldier Medows. We claim the primitive BLM cabin for the night, a cozy first come first serve rustic shelter from the elements with a cozy wood burning stove, perfect for unwinding after the days adventures in the hidden corner of Nevada.
