I was in search of a portable floor jack to take around for small jobs and/or emergency use. Bottle Jacks, unijacks were out of the question since most do not fit under a sedan/coupe nonetheless a lowered one. Never been a fan of Trolley jacks because of their narrow stance and unstable footprint. The 1.5 aluminums and/or steel floor jacks are TOYS IMHO and 9 out of 10 times struggle to lift. that's why if I'm lifting any vehicle I need 2 tons minimum. I came across this company called VEVOR. They don't focus on just automotive tools but home and other products/merchandise which made me doubt the quality and performance on their floor and trolley jack line ups. For the price tag of $57 delivered and the Specs that this 2.5 Ton Hybrid jack had to offer it was a no brainer to at least try it out. Vevor products are sold both on Amazon and Walmart at an up cost. I bought this directly from Vevor. Im happy with the purchase. Jack works at it should , I may do an update review a year from now to see how well it holds up. Pros. 1. 27lbs 2. Low profile to get under any sedan/coupe/SUV (SUV will require extension) 3. 2.5 Ton Capacity. Enough for a portable/mobile jack 4. (Hybrid) Wide low front, non pancake style wheels, Heavy steel frame body 5. Two piece lifting post/handle for more leverage when needed 6. Lifting handle/Pinch weld adapter 7. Nice yellow/black powder coat scheme 8. 1 year Manufacturers warranty Cons. 1. Limited height as most trolley jacks have -15" max 2. Tolerances at moving parts could be better to eliminate slop 3. Quality of Pump, Hardware and overall parts are at a minimum standard level, no different then other trolley jacks on the market. 4. Does not come greased, nor does it have a grease zerk at main joint. 5. Small saddle as all other trolley jacks 6. Single pump as all other trolley jacks Final Verdict. I Recommend this jack for any car enthusiast looking for a mobile/portable jack to take to small jobs. Its limited by height but so all other trolley and 1.5/2 ton aluminum models at double the price. Quality is ok, but should not be a concern on performance but rather longevity.
