How To: Editing Sound Fonts - Crimson Dawn Lightsabers (Baselit & NeoPixel)

Here’s the method I used to replace sound fonts on my Crimson Core V2 & my Crimson NeoPixel Core as well. Short version: It’s a font from SaberFont.com and initially I used CFX style, but recently changed my fonts to the Proffie version instead as they tend to sound a little better. Either way it doesn’t matter, both are .wav files and both need renamed. 1) take out sd card 2) put it in computer 3) MAKE A BACKUP OF YOUR ORIGINAL FILES/FOLDERS ON THE SABER 4) note the names of the original files 5) rename the new files to match the original. ie: swing.wav should be swing (1).wav 6) do this for all the files 7) replace sd card 8) switch to that font on your saber and try it out If done correctly, all your new sounds should play. If you forgot to rename a file, you will hear either the original file, or nothing play at all. Advanced editing includes modifications to the .font file to look for additional files or added tracks.
