September 2021 | I'll never forget how I felt the first time I travelled to Lake Superior Provincial Park in Algoma County, Ontario. The never-ending smell of fresh pine, the crystal clear turquoise waters and the extremely rugged Canadian shield on display. That feeling had me fixated on one day returning to traverse The Coastal Trail. To explore the natural beauty of the landscapes within the many unfrequented coves, beaches and campsites only accessible by long grueling distance on foot. My backpack, fishing rod and I spent three long secluded days on the trail.
