This is our alumni song, and, per tradition, we asked any alumni in the audience to join us on stage to sing it with us! Originally by The Roches and released in 1979, this song was arranged by Linda Lynch, Class of 1985. -- The New Blue was founded in 1969, the same year that Yale University first admitted undergraduate women–making us not only Yale's oldest women's a cappella group, but its oldest undergraduate women's organization of any kind. We are honored to hail from a rich musical history dating back 50 years, and we hope to always stand (and sing!) as a proud, living symbol of women's accomplishments at Yale. https://www.newblueofyale.com/
