👉🏻 My Trip To Acropolis -    • Walking to the Top of the Acropolis in Ath...   We booked the hotel end of December 2024 during Christmas and stayed 4 nights in Grand Hyatt Athens. It was a very nice & convenient hotel to explore Athens. We ordered Uber taxi from the airport, which is cheaper than Airport taxi service. Hotel is located close to Acropolis (2.5km). We got suite room upgrade for the normal rate. It was nice with Acropolis view. ⭐️ Rates: 135 € With Breakfast ⭐️ Location: Hotel is located right in front of the main road. From Acropolis it’s 2.5km ( 3-4€ Uber). ⭐️ Club Lounge: Open 8.00am - 9.30pm ⭐️ Transportation: Uber is very common and not so expensive in Athens. Direct taxis are more expensive than Uber. Always go for uber for both long and short trips. ⭐️ How we got a suite room upgrade: My friend has Hyatt Globalist Status and he shared ‘Suite upgrade award” to me. Using that I could book the suite room through the app for the normal rate. Special thanks goes to him. ⭐️ Best time to travel: I noticed, the hotel is normally very busy during summer. It was not so crowded in December. But Weather was bit ugly. I recommend spring or autumn would be the best. ⭐️ Temperature: It was around 10 ° Celsius. ⭐️ Pros: Good location | Friendly Staff | Good food | Worth for the rate ⭐️ Cons: Compared to Germany, I see the guests are not so polite. It made me annoyed to see how some people were behaving in the Club lounge and Breakfast without any decency. I do not see that kind of people much in hotels in Germany. And the hotel staff is working very hard to deal with these kind of people. Other than that, it’s a very nice stay!! Thank You! For watching my video.
