Punjab CM Announces Extension Of Lockdown For Next 2 Weeks

Punjab government on Wednesday announced a four-hour relaxation in the curfew imposed in wake of novel coronavirus outbreak. Making the announcement, Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said that curfew will be relaxed between 7 am and 11 am so that people can start their industrial work. He also announced that the lockdown, as well as curfew, will continue for the next two weeks. The nationwide lockdown is slated to end on May 3. Based on future developments, more relaxation can be announced, the Punjab CM said.
