Its a BTech UV-5X3 which I think is also affiliated with Baofeng. Not sure how much they are involved or if they own Btech, Like Toyota and Lexus sort of thing. Regardless after a lot of reading reviews this one seemed like the best option for under $100 so I went for it. Really looking forward to learning on it and later upgrading to a vehicle mounted setup. Most likely a Kenwood Unit. Until then this will work perfectly.
