賴佳鴻 柴燒壺｜壺蓋創作修復 Lai Chia-Hung Wood-Fired Teapot — Lid Creative Restoration ⸻ 中文說明 本件為陶藝家賴佳鴻之柴燒壺。整體氣質素雅內斂，雖為柴燒工法，卻未見厚重落灰與強烈火痕交織，而是在節制之中保留柴燒特有的溫度與自然氣息。 委託者具設計背景，長期以「龜」為企業核心視覺，象徵穩定、耐心與長遠佈局。壺蓋邊沿破損後，期望修復不僅止於結構回復，更能承載其精神意象。 因此本次創作修復，以「龜伏荷葉」為構想。龜靜伏於荷葉之上，如日光下緩慢呼吸的姿態——既是守護，也是時間的象徵。荷葉寓意承托與潔淨，龜象徵長壽與踏實前行。破損不再只是缺口，而成為行至此刻的痕跡，使傷痕轉化為風景的一部分。 修復技法採花釘強化結構，以銀與天然漆為主要媒材。銀製龜身伏於蓋面，穩定受損區域，同時形成壺蓋新的視覺重心。結構與意象並行，使器物在日常使用中兼具穩固與敘事層次。 ⸻ English Description This wood-fired teapot was created by ceramic artist Lai Chia-Hung. The overall presence is restrained and refined. Although wood-fired, it does not display heavy ash accumulation or dramatic flame markings. Instead, it preserves a subtle warmth and quiet atmosphere characteristic of wood firing. The client, with a background in design, has long adopted the turtle as the core visual identity of his company, symbolizing stability, patience, and long-term vision. After the rim of the lid was chipped, he hoped the restoration would not only repair the structure, but also embody this symbolic language. The concept evolved into “a turtle resting upon a lotus leaf.” The turtle sits calmly as if breathing under sunlight—both guardian and bearer of time. The lotus leaf represents support and purity, while the turtle signifies longevity and steady progress. The former damage becomes a trace of movement rather than a flaw, transforming into part of the landscape. The structure was reinforced using decorative staple technique, with silver and natural lacquer as primary materials. The silver turtle stabilizes the damaged area while redefining the visual focus of the lid.
