The Bertrand Soil Mix - (ADVANCED TECHNIQUE) Making up a "just add water" soil mix for home grow

PLEASE NOTE: For beginning growers, we STRONGLY recommend growing with one of the soils we recommend in The Armoire instruction manual and/or our FAQs at the website. This is an ADVANCED technique for folks who have the grow process nailed, have been through 3 or 4 different grow cycles, and are ready to experiment. This is NOT part of the normal Armoire grow protocol, it's a freestylin' approach to making your own soil. This video shows the "Bertrand Mix" we learned from Armoire customer and grower Eric Bertrand. We don't know where it originated (with him, or if he learned it elsewhere) but it shall forever be known as "The Bertrand Mix" to me. LoL. The recipe calls for 50L (or 55L) of Coco Coir, 16L of Vermiculite, 20 cups of Bio Live and 20 cups of Vegan Mix. The nutrients (Bio Live and Vegan Mix) are from "Down to Earth". This is all dry materials. Mix it dry (no water!). Make sure to get a large enough tote (68L or larger) to hold all the dry material, and mix well. Make sure to get a tote with a lid because the mix will yield enough for 3-4 grows, so you will most likely only use 1/4 of it and have a lot left over for future use. You will want to put holes in the tote to allow for air flow and store in a cool dry place so it doesn't get wet/moldy while waiting to be used.
