This is one of my favourite pieces by the english composer John Dowland. Originally for the lute, It was composed during the renaissance period. Notice that I play it in a key just a little bit lower than normal. Some specialists of this kind of repertoire may argue. I think it brings a deep feeling to this music. I really like it that way.
