This spreadsheet will be updated from time to time, and the update date is shown at the top. Feel free to download it and use the links to find the video reviews on YouTube. Here's the folder with the spreadsheet inside: tinyurl.com/AndroidWatches UPDATE 2017/05/19: I was all mixed up. Here's the straight scoop from a viewer From: tin200147 The specs are worded right.... ROM = Flash = Storage (including the OS itself). This is partitioned into several parts including the bootloader, recovery, the "ROM" or firmware, and the internal storage. Flash is technically a type of EEPROM, so ROM is not entirely incorrect... And is kind of a leftover from way back in the dark ages when WinCE did operate its built in storage as read only (with changes stored in a RAM disk, which required a backup battery - back in the 90's and early 2000's). RAM = RAM. When a tech person says "memory", this is what they mean. RAM is where stuff is held WHILE PROCESSING. No files live here - only data being used by processes that are currently running. Files are loaded into RAM when used, but are quickly removed when no longer being used. RAM is erased when power is lost. This has nothing to do what how much you can store, but does effect how many things you can actively have running at the same time. Deleting files does not free up RAM, although uninstalling apps that run background services can. TLDR: More ROM for storing photos/music/apps themselves. More RAM for running lots of apps simultaneously. #smartwatch
