INTRO - 0:00 Walk-through - 0:54 Closing - 11:25 Trillium Lake Campground is located off of Highway 26 near Government Camp in the Mt. Hood National Forest. It is one of the most photographed lakes in all of Oregon and you have likely seen pictures of it even if you have never been. With 57 sites in total the campground sits near the lake though there are not many sites that are actually "lake front". There are vault toilets, potable water and many sites are large enough to accommodate trailers or RVs. Trillium Lake itself is small though popular for fishing, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding. There are no motorized boats allowed on the lake and there is a nice trail around the lake that can be hiked in little more than an hour. Trillium Lake is a great destination for those looking to recreate on Mt.
