This week, our journey around the world in a Land Rover Defender takes us deep into Laos — a country that doesn’t reveal itself easily. From endless dust and broken roads to landscapes shaped by history, nature, and resilience, every kilometer tests our patience… and rewards our curiosity. The drive south is slow, unforgiving, and at times overwhelming — but somewhere along the way, we stumble upon places that make all of it worth it. Hidden waterfalls, forgotten ruins, high plateaus, and a river so powerful it refuses to be tamed. Some journeys rush you forward. Others teach you how to slow down. Laos did both!
