She visits The Stutz for a cortado and lunch, highlighting Amelia’s bakery and Julietta tacos near campus, then talks about enjoying the canal area, access to the gym, and being able to cross campus in under 10 minutes. In the ET building she meets up with her sister, Chelsea, who shares the same major, and describes how they support each other as they navigate engineering without an engineering family background. The day ends with class (ECE 608 with Dr. King) and an invitation to explore the Indianapolis location, smaller class sizes, and faculty research. 00:00 Meet Haylie Rayl 00:14 Why I Chose IUPUI 00:53 Coffee and Tacos Stop 01:16 Back to Campus Life 01:54 Finding My Sister 02:02 Family Support in ECE 03:14 Heading to ECE 608 03:18 Why Indy Feels Like HomePurdue ECE: http://engineering.purdue.edu/ECE Facebook: / purdueece X: https://x.com/PurdueECE Instagram: / purdue.ece LinkedIn: / purdue-ece Purdue University's Elmore Family School of Electrical and Computer Engineering, founded in 1888, is one of the largest ECE departments in the nation and is consistently ranked among the best in the country.
