On March 26th, 2024, Officers were dispatched to remove two subjects causing a disturbance at a bar in Oak Park, Illinois. When Officer Simon arrived, he observed both subjects inside the bathroom. They exited the bathroom, confronted the employee who wanted them removed from the bar, and exchanged pleasantries. They then charged the employee, and Officer Simon held back Jabree while her friend Dejana allegedly struck the employee multiple times and pulled her hair. Evidence of this altercation can be seen briefly in the body camera when Dejana was caught holding the employee's hair weave. Officer Grabowski then arrived to assist Officer Simon, and he pushed Jabree outside. Jabree got mad about being pushed down and punched Officer Simon.
