Date: 12/3/22 Location: Marshall City Hall, Marshall, Michigan Temp: 35°F Signal: 3 minute attack Units Heard: Thunderbolt 1000T (main unit) - 200 feet 2001-SRNB - 0.65 miles 2001-SRNB - 0.9 miles 2001-SRNB - 1.05 miles On the first Saturday of this month, Chris, Holly, and I came out to Marshall to cross this Thunderbolt off the list of things to see in Calhoun County. Unfortunately, Mitchell and Tony were not able to come with this month, so it was also the most sparsely attended Calhoun test we've done. This was the first siren any of us had done in this county outside of the city of Battle Creek, so we were a little nervous going in. Just shy of two minutes after test time, Calhoun lit the sirens off and, by the sounds of things, all of Marshall's sirens are currently working. Hopefully over the coming months we can cross a few more of Calhoun County's sirens off of our list. Thanks for watching, and enjoy! Calhoun County tests their siren system on the first Saturday of every month at 1 PM, weather permitting.
