We NEED a Shovel! Our Chevy Colorado ZR2 is stuck in the Mud near Green River Utah!

We had been out exploring in our 2022 Chevy Colorado ZR2 at one of our favorite places - The San Rafael Swell, and it was time to adventure back to Colorado. However, we knew of some off road trails we’ve never done toward the green river area and thought that it sounded like fun since we didn’t feel like taking the highway back to Green River. For the most part, this trail is an easy dirt road with some fun whoops up and down as you traverse the dirt bentonite hills. These are pretty easy for any vehicle with good traction. Some of the trail can be washed out in a few places, but that makes it more fun right? About half way through the trail you’ll get to a fun wash crossing that will test your approach and departure angle. Honestly, we were happy we didn’t bring the long bed on this trip although, this dip would have been fun to see if it would make it. As you can see the approach angle on the ZR2 was just good enough to make the hill, but the departure angle was not even close. Can you imagine the long bed through here?! We knew we were getting close to the end of the trail when we saw an impossible obstacle - Where the heck did all this mud come from?! Well, we didn’t want to turn around so we decided to give it a go…boy that was a mistake!
