Watch us quilt on the Brother BQ3050 with the Mu-vit foot. See a demo of quilting a lap sized quilt

This live video shows us quilting a lap sized quilt on a Brother BQ3050 sewing machine. We used the Mu-vit foot and the laser light feature to make quilting easier. This machine has over 11" of throat space for easy rolling of the project while quilting. We marked our quilting design lines on the quilt with a blue water soluble clover marking pen. These lines will come out when sprayed with water. Next, we quilted along these lines using the laser guide light to follow our marked lines. Using the Mu-vit foot - a type of walking foot that has a small conveyor belt - keeps our "quilt sandwich" moving smoothly thru the sewing machine. Our machine is in the Aussie II Kangaroo cabinet.
