This was the first time I had come across the Romanian IAR 80 in combat and it didn't take me long to score my first victory against them, but it would also give me a false impression of them because in following missions, I grew to almost fear them (or should that be, IL 2s AI skill with them 🤣) But anyway, the mission was a lot of fun. On a side note, I've ordered my new PC today and should have it in the next couple of weeks, and at almost £1,300, it should be a massive step up from my current rig 👍🏼 But she's served me well over the years, so she'll be getting an upgrade at some point and used solely as a video editing machine, so I can play games on one, while videos are rendering on the other.
