White Industries Eccentric ENO Hub!!! Bike Blogger Commutes

First impressions with the White Industries Eccentric ENO hub! Convert your multi speed geared bicycle with vertical dropouts to a single speed or a fixed gear bike! 47.5mm chainline exactly with the ENO hub and a Wolftooth chainring on my Shimano crank. 3/32" chain works fine (9 speed). 11/128" chains (10 speed) are not compatible with my White Industries freewheel. 49 chain links chain length works for me. No half links (half links don't work on narrow wide chainrings). Frame chainstay length is 405mm per manufacturer, typical for road bikes. Gear is 48T/18T, 2.67 gear ratio. Bike weight is sub 16 lbs; 7 kg +. Tip: Another option for chain tension I did not mention is a frame with horizontal or semi horizontal dropouts (often found on older bikes and some new steel bikes like my Surly Cross Check). Tip: Another option for chain tension I did not mention are dropout adapters. Do not use these unless they were made specifically for your frame though! Correction: 3:05 I meant to say 'seat tube' not 'seat stay' Correction: I referred to box wrenches. You actually need an open end wrench to adjust the chain tension. Note: Brakes were rubbing a bit on the front wheel since I had them dialed in too tight. Fixed now.
