Halloween watermelon Jack o'Lantern, made from Carving a watermelon. Normally you'll use a Pumpkin for your Halloween decoration Jack o'lantern but that kind of pumpkin can be hard to find in some places around the world. Where we live we cannot get them, but we have lots of watermelons so we always make a Halloween watermelon Jack o'lantern this time of year. Watermelon carving is very fun and also easier than carving a pumpkin due to them being much softer. You can carve your watermelon however you like, but it's a good idea to sketch out your design with a pen before you start. We use a fruit carving knife and that should be easy to find where ever you are in the world. As you can see in the video we also made a Halloween sweet potato, so there really is no limit to what you can turn into a Jack o'lantern for your Halloween decorations.
