Gunnuhver is named after a female ghost that caused great disturbance in the area until a priest set a trap for her and she fell into the spring some 400 years ago. Some say that here spirit can be still seen form in the steam formations so feel free to check it out if you see old Gunna there, and let the local tourist board know it she's bugging them since they made a deal with her a while back.
