In my opinion, it is the best home analogue system ever invented. The picture quality is comparable to Betamax very stable, colourful, and free of distortions. Even more than two decades after recording, it looks as if it was recorded recently. A forty-year-old VHS from 1984, with a recording made over twenty years ago, would not look anywhere near this good. The picture would constantly shake, be full of dropouts, flickering, and have unstable colours. In comparison, Video 2000 remains remarkably stable and vibrant. The tape is somewhat sensitive to damage, but with a high-quality tape, the viewing experience is phenomenal.
