The new From Elvis In Memphis One Step Ultradisc from MOFI arrived this week, and I had the opportunity to do a shootout against the 1981 MFSL edition of From Elvis In Memphis on a very resolving system courtesy of Oswaldo Martinez who is the President of Let There Be Sound. In this video I comment on the differences in what I heard and emerged with a clear preference. Oswaldo also offers a short comment and has graciously assembled uncompressed files of one song from the each version for you to access and compare.
