We took Lauryn Hill’s cautionary anthem "Doo Wop (That Thing)" and mashed it up with Tupac’s legendary boast "I Get Around." We titled this fusion "Doo-Wop (I Get Around)." We stripped the hip-hop production and took it back to 1947. This is a jump-blues jam where the warning is loud, but the temptation is strong. In this 1940s Vintage Jam, you’ll hear: The Groove: A fast-paced, toe-tapping Jump Blues shuffle (think Louis Jordan).
