Inca Trail to Machu Picchu

Mesmerizing 4D/3N Inca Trail Trek to Machu Picchu. The dates of the trek were December 21 to December 24, 2023, which is considered low season and is often rainy weather. We experienced fog but very little rain. Temperatures were moderate and pleasant around 12-18C/55-65F daytime temperature. The second day was the coldest with around 3-7C/38-45F because of high altitude. Itinerary : Fly from US to Lima to Cusco. 1 day acclimatization in Cusco. On day 1 pick up from the hotel around 4:30 am, bus ride to Ollantaytambo, have breakfast and start the trek for the next 4 days. On the 4th day we reached Machu Picchu where we spent about 4 hours. After that we took a small bus to the city of Aguas Calientes where we had our last lunch as a group. After lunch we traveled 2 hours by train back to Ollantaytambo and another 2 hours by bus back to Cusco.
