We stated in Mayfair hotel at Darjeeling, it is one of the best hotels in Darjeeling although costly. 9000 per day including breakfast is excessively high cost for mid-income group travelers. We checked out on 2nd Dec, 2021 from Darjeeling and started for Chatakpur. It is just one and half hour journey from Darjeeling, after a place called 3rd mile the road is through dense forest. We stayed at Prem home stay at Chatakpur, it was just another normal homestay in the village with warm hospitality of the owner family. We roamed around and walked to the watchtower and then to Kalipokhri. The best thing that you can experience from Chatakpur is offcourse Mt. Kanchenjungha, however, the scene becomes heavenly during sunset and sunrise from Chatakpur. Hope you will like the video. Homestay Details: 1.
