Attention strong bases and talented flyers! Start warming up those biceps and opening those hip flexors. Consider this AcroYoga training video a line drawn in the sand. The Croc Garage is DEFINITELY not for beginners. Of all the static AcroYoga poses, Croc (short for Crocodile) is equal parts challenge and beauty. Requiring a great deal of strength and balance, the flyer is tasked with maintaining strong lines with full extension in all directions. Bases need to maintain steady leg and active foot. What does one do once you've mastered a statuesque crocodile? Take that croc for a spin! You can work on some Croc Rocks (moving your Croc from leg to leg) to warm up. Once you've rode that croc hard, you'll want to park it somewhere. Hence, the Croc Garage. The Base springs into action when the flyer needs a bicep break. The Flyer finishes the rest of the rotational movement the Base can't control. Quite simply, it's an epic dance not suitable for everyone. Oh, and Bases... feel free to not use your hands. Let your Flyers have some fun up there by themselves ;) Flyer-- Jaimie Harrow Base-- Daniel Scott Looking for more fun and interesting AcroYoga excitement? Daniel Scott provides.
