The collaboration with artist and photographer Juno Calypso exposes the dance between the reality and fantasy of a very British Christmas. “What is Christmas all about? It’s about your family, it’s about the local pub, it’s about there never being snow when we want there to be snow,” according to actor Matt Smith. Juno draws on her own festive experiences and rituals; from the unpredictable British weather (everyone always dreams of snow), to family togetherness, delayed trains to festive feasts.
