If I could go back to my 20s, here’s exactly what I’d tell myself about money, work, and freedom. • Our Budget Template (free): http://www.mikeandbrit.com/budget • Our Debt Payoff Organizer: https://www.mikeandbrit.com/debt-orga... • Grab a free stock with Robinhood: https://join.robinhood.com/michaem27270 •Gear We Use for Our YouTube Videos: https://www.amazon.com/shop/mikethema... •Instagram: / itsmikeandbrit This video is about a lot of things, but there's one thing I spend more time talking about than others: college. I wish that weren't the case. A lot of the mistakes I've made in life are related in one way or another to college. I went into college without much of a plan, never asking myself, is college for me? Is college necessary? Is it a waste of time? How important is it? Is college worth it? I never sought answers to those questions and never had a reason for going outside the "you need a degree to become successful" thing we're all taught to believe. As such, I spent 9 years in college, going from one school to another, one degree program to the next. At 20 years old I didn't have the perspective that time wouldn't wait for me, that I would eventually feel like it's running out and I need to do something with my life. I feel like I may have wasted a lot of my time in college. I definitely wasted a lot of it playing video games. 0:00 - Wasting time with college and video games 3:19 - Life Results and Self Awareness 6:21 - Success, Failure, and Perfection 10:03 - Self Image 11:26 - Is College Worth it 13:13 - I Wish I Read More ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Books that Will Change Your Life ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- • The Total Money Makeover: https://amzn.to/3hoVIDz • Richest Man in Babylon: https://amzn.to/3DNmTjg • Rich Dad Poor Dad: https://amzn.to/3TgujRQ • The Little Book of Common Sense Investing: https://amzn.to/3UgqmxR • 48 Days to the Work You Love: https://amzn.to/3zV7ewY • See You at the Top: https://amzn.to/3tbHiJH • The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People: https://amzn.to/3zY3KKd • Psycho-Cybernetics: https://amzn.to/3Ukj1xd • 7 Levels of Communication: https://amzn.to/3UBiLth • Twelve Pillars: https://amzn.to/3WGcePP ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- GEAR WE USE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sony a6400 - https://amzn.to/2YyGFy1 Sony a6600 - https://amzn.to/3Br8R4q Sony 10-18mm f/4 - https://amzn.to/2DuIMpf Sigma 16mm f/1.4 - https://amzn.to/2ZpYZW5 Sony 50mm f/1.8 - https://amzn.to/2Dtob4D Manfrotto 290 Xtra - https://amzn.to/2GEvKYg Manfrotto 3-Way Photo Head - https://amzn.to/2IOjNAw ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Legal Disclaimer: Michael Miller is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to amazon.com.
