Just a quick video showing a method I use to unstick tailgates. This is for when you pull on the handle and it almost seems like it's not even attached. A couple things: This is done on a 2001 Ford F-250, but the concept should be relatively the same no matter what year or type your truck is. Although I'm sure there are trucks out there (especially more recently manufactured ones) that this method will not work for unfortunately. But if you're deep enough on YouTube to find this video then hopefully it helps! If you don't have lubricant specifically, WD-40 will work in a pinch, but do yourself a huge solid and go to your favorite department/hardware store and get some lube! Just on your auto alone such every day annoyances as: hood/trunk latch hard to open power windows slow manual windows stiff keylocks difficult to turn seats hard to slide forward/back doors/hood/trunk/tailgate squeak & groan windshield wipers slow & weak are ALL things that 90 percent of the time can be fixed by just using lube! and there's so, so much more. You know what they say: LUBE IT OR LOSE IT!
