It`s a complete episode because in this episode I will show you root training, ,branch trimming,drying, re potting- everything along with 45 days`update of an adenium bonsai tree. The adenium plant taken in this project has grown horizontal radial roots. So I have selected some roots as pillar roots and cut off all unnecessary roots along with damaged roots. In future the desert rose plant bonsai will be standing on these pillar roots. Adenium has a natural bonsai like look for its big caudex .So a little bonsai root training can make adenium plant a wonderful flowering bonsai tree. In this video first an adenium bonsai plant is uprooted and the soil is washed out from the roots. Then some roots are selected as pillar roots and all other unnecessary roots are cut off. Now the branches are trimmed for more branches which will form a thick canopy which will give more adenium flowers in the flowering season. Fungicide is applied to the cut area and then the desert rose plant is left hanging in shade for 10 days for drying. Drying reduces the chance of rotting. It also instigates the adenium plant to grow fat caudex by storing food. This is the general process of making desert rose bonsai with massive caudex. After 10 days drying the desert rose plant bonsai is now repotted raising 1 inch of the pillar root above the soil. During repotting I shows the ingredients and fertilizer I use in the soil for adenium Next in the video comes the update after 45 days. In this part it is seen that the pillar roots raised above the soil is gradually taking the texture of caudex the adenium plant has produced many branches which , in the flowering season will bloom tons of flowers. In course of time this adenium plant bonsai will become a perfect adenium bonsai tree standing on some pillar roots.
