Western Michigan University’s next president, Russ Kavalhuna, is preparing to take over as the school's tenth president in July after current President Edward Montgomery retires. Kavalhuna is a Western graduate, and recently served as the Executive Director of Flight Operations at the Western Michigan University College of Aviation.
