Around a week ago one of you suggested making a video just with pure sounds of scissors. It's such a simple idea that if it hadn't happened I would have never thought it's even worth to give it a go. I'm so happy that I decided to put it in the last voting. It's so happens that majority of you gave me a chance to bring it into being, and it's great because it turned out that this recording can definitely be considered as one of the best I've ever managed to make. There are so many binaural recordings out there, but only a little fraction of them is good enough to let you feel all of the directions your hearing can experience in 3 dimensional space. I mean, it's not so hard to make a recording in which directions such as left, right and behind are very well distinguishable. True challenge begins every time when you want a listener to experience the front, down, and the top, and I think I managed to capture the top, and the front in this recording a few times, what makes me really happy. My new dummy head microphone which I designed by myself really helped me to achieve it. There are lots of people asking me what kind of microphone I use to make my videos. It's really hard to answer, because it depends on many factors. However it's true that most of the time I use my own dummy head microphones which have never been for sale. One of them is very universal – I use it for most of my videos, and for those of you who were interested it will be available online soon in a very reasonable price. So, stay tuned =] Already available here: http://binauralenthusiast.com/ Don't forget to check out my bandcamp profile. There are lots of HQ downloadable audio tracks in many different formats such as MP3, FLAC, ALAC (Apple Lossless), AAC, or Ogg Vorbis. Now if you wish you can download your favorite soundtrack, and listen on your mobile phone or mp3 player whenever you want: http://deepoceanofsounds.bandcamp.com/ All the photos are public domain Through the last few years I've been getting quite a lot of messages from people who wanted to start their own asmr channel but were not completely sure what equipment they should choose to make a video in which the sound would be noticeably good.
