In this video I take a look a version of a transcendental argument for the existence of God popularized by C.S. Lewis. I have seen versions from @CrossExamined ,@mattslick ,@BraxtonHunter, Sye Ten Bruggencate and @Daily_Dose_Of_Wisdom . These arguments attempt to prove the existence of God by connecting god's existence to our ability to trust our beliefs. With a little help from Elon Musk, a Bucket of Cat Pee, A chocolate donut, mutant theist Mank Slurek and mutant atheist Mallett Occonohunty (I hope someone takes the time to bring both these dudes into AI art existence). Ultimately, we will show that the very best these arguments can do is question whether or not Atheists can trust their beliefs...and we will have an answer for that question as well. 0:00 Intro 01:15 The Transcendental Argument 02:05 A substitution instance: Elon Musk is an unmarried man. 03:44 The Transcendental argument can't prove anything about existence. 06:14 Matt Slick, @SansDeity and a bucket of cat pee. 10:20 @CosmicSkeptic Frank Turkek, the worst fake British accent ever, chocolate and tar. 13:45 Trusting beliefs, Consistency, Self-Defeatery, Mank Slurek. 15:57 Mallett O'Connohunty, Trusting beliefs about the world. 18:18 Mank the Uber-theist's final objection: Beliefs from a supernatural perspective. 18:58 Mallet's final mic drop (Featuring make-pretend Brandon McGuire) 20:37 The final conclusion: We have proven that Atheists can only believe atheist things. I use a couple of clips from this debate between Matt Slick and Matt Dillahunty: • Atheist Debates - Dillahunty vs Slick - Is... and This debate between Frank Turek and Alex Oconnor: • Alex O'Connor vs Frank Turek | The Moral A... #theism #atheism #philosophy #christianity #apologetics
