In this teaching, Tim traces: The meaning of “knowing good and bad” in the Hebrew Bible The theme of human desire and moral autonomy The Hebrew word tov (“good”) and how it shapes Genesis 1–3 The difference between receiving wisdom as a gift and seizing it on our own terms How the Eden story becomes a pattern repeated throughout Scripture Drawing connections across the Hebrew Bible, the New Testament, and early Christian reflection, this session shows how Genesis frames the journey toward wisdom, integrity, and Christian maturity.
