Heavy rain poured nonstop as I built my bushcraft shelter beside a fallen beech tree, using only a tarp and natural materials from the forest. Despite the raging rainstorm, I managed to start a warm fire and cook a juicy lamb steak and fresh bread over open flames. During the day, I found edible mushrooms between the wet roots and moss, gathered dry wood, and collected rainwater for drinking. Without any modern tools, I crafted a small stand from wood to hold my pan above the fire — a true test of primitive survival skills. As the rain continued to fall through the night, the sound of raindrops, crackling fire, and misty jungle atmosphere created an unforgettable, peaceful moment in nature.
