In this episode, we are joined by Arisha! Arisha is a second-year Health Sciences student at SFU and one of SFUCCS’ lovely external fundraising co-ordinators! After completing cancer treatment, she experienced an eating disorder as a result of the physical changes caused by her medication. This episode includes discussion of eating disorders, so a trigger warning is in place for listeners who may be sensitive to this topic. We also walk through Arisha’s scrapbook, which documents her entire cancer journey and serves as a powerful reflection of her experience. We are incredibly grateful to Arisha for joining us and for speaking so openly and bravely about such an important and deeply personal topic.
