Today’s Good News: I Have Decided to Follow Jesus

In this message from Deuteronomy 30:15–20 and Matthew 7:13–14, we are confronted with the clear choice God sets before us: life or destruction, the narrow road or the broad road. Just as someone trapped in darkness must follow a rescuer’s voice to safety, Jesus calls us to follow Him, offering not only a warning about the path that leads to destruction but a way that leads to true life through His sacrifice on the cross. Choosing life means more than agreement; it means repentance, trust, obedience, and entering into a growing relationship with God by loving Him, listening to His voice, and holding fast to Him. This sermon invites each of us to make a decisive commitment to follow Jesus, walking the narrow road that leads to life now and forever.
