MRS Microraft Packraft Review. The MRS Microraft is a really great all round packraft. It is perfect if you're after a multi-discipline packraft. It's suitable for lakes, rivers and white-water (but please note this packraft is not 100% watertight on the deck) and perfect for expeditions. The MRS Microraft comes in 4 Sizes: XS, S, L Xtra-Long. I tested out the Large version. The packraft weighs 3.4KG which isn't the lightest. The Microraft comes with a removable cruiser deck which will stop most of the water ingress from paddle drips, rain and splashes but is not 100% watertight as it is velcroed on the L side for ingress and egress. The Microraft can be ordered with an Internal Storage System (ISS) which by opening a TiZip on the stern allows you to store your gear internally in the packraft. This is one of the nicest packrafts I have tried and really recommend this to anyone. The Microraft was supplied to me by the UK distributor, Paqualife.
