Despite these odds, the Marathans have never faced Scottish troops and would soon realize their bravery and savageness. British native cavalry is butchered in assaults to keep the enemy distracted to allow the British to redeploy and face the Marathans, which appeared from multiple directions. The Scottish line infantry and highlanders hold their ground and suffer heavy losses against the Maranthan forces. Ultimately, the Scottish forces prove victorious against the Maranthan forces. Having suffered 2,000 casualties, but the Marathans have suffered nearly 8,000 casualties. They were forced to flee and Hyderadad was firmly secured. It would take a while for the British to recover and urgent reinforcements were needed to replace shattered units. Meanwhile, more British forces land in West India, with yet another Scottish force, under the command of British General Snipt. His army would facing a lightly defended city, Neroon.
