Come along with us as we celebrate the 4th of July at our local baseball stadium—League Stadium in Huntingburg, Indiana! This historic ballpark was built in 1894, one of the oldest in the country, and was even featured in the film A League of Their Own, giving it a timeless, vintage feel you just don’t see anymore. From small-town patriotism and fireworks to fun antics and good old-fashioned baseball, the whole night felt like stepping into a simpler time. The game featured the Dubois County Bombers, our local summer collegiate baseball team, who play right here every season as part of the Prospect League. Even though we live in Jasper, Huntingburg is just 10 minutes down the road—and to us, it’s all one big community. We hope this gives you a little taste of small-town USA! Thanks for joining us for this unforgettable night under the lights. If you enjoyed getting a peek into our small-town 4th of July, let us know in the comments—we’d love to hear how your community celebrates.
